Here’s a list of Fairfax Radio Network frequently asked questions and answers taken from emails you have sent to us asking for help and our response. What if I’ve lost my password and/or username?

Click this link or copy and paste it into your Internet program:

In the ‘Username' box, enter your email address.  Then click the tick box under ‘Forgotten your Password’ and then click the ‘Log In’ button.  An email will be sent to that email address with your username and password. If you don't receive an email to your inbox, check your junk email folder to see if it was registered as junk mail.
 
How do I contact a station?

You can contact any of our radio or television stations via email, post, telephone or fax. For contact listings, click here.

How do I listen to my city’s radio station?

You can listen online via the Fairfax Radio Network media player, or simply tune-in to the relevant AM frequency in your respective city.

How do I listen/watch live online?

Fairfax Radio Network uses Windows Media Player to stream its audio and video content, which is compatible with the vast majority of Windows computer set-ups.  You can download Windows Media Player from the Windows Media Website.

Remember to also update your media player with the most recent version available.

Mac users will need to download a free program from the internet to listen live.  It is available from the VideoLAN Website.


When you have installed Windows Media Player, click the ‘Listen Live’ icon in the top left of any Fairfax Radio Network page and select the radio station you wish to listen to. For help using the audio/video streaming feature of the site, please visit our Audio/Video Streaming Guide. You need to be a Mytalk member to use the watch live feature on Fairfax Radio Network . Only the talkback stations (2UE, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR) are available to watch live.

What if I am having problems with the site / my account?

How do I make Fairfax Radio Network my home page?

After opening mytalk.com.au, go to the ‘Tools Section’ on the top right-hand side of your browser. Click on ‘Internet Options’ and in the ‘General’ section click ‘Use Current’ under the heading ‘Home Page’.
