Scud gets swept away
He might have been one of Australia's best tennis players, but it seems Mark Philippoussis didn't know what he was in for when he tackled the surf at Bells Beach in early July. The Scud was missing for an hour and a half after being hit by a massive wave and having his board snapped, and Bells Beach local Steve Ryan recounted the story to the Sports Today boys.

On Wednesday night’s Sports Today, Dwayne came out firing saying that the Tigers were a good thing to beat the Cats on Saturday. Unfortunately for Dwayne, Mark “Bomber” Thompson was our next guest and challenged Dwayne to a bet, which resulted in “The Pipe” cleaning Bomber’s car at President Ford on Monday morning.

Before third seed Novak Djokovic bundled local hope Lleyton Hewitt out of the Australian Open this year, he was captured on film by BBC1 imitating the jittery Aussie. He then gave Maria Sharapova a dose of his comedy stylings on Channel 7.
